Film begins this July for Blumhouse Productions and eOne.
Why is this good news? Because Foy directed the UK thriller Citadel, a quiet, disturbing film which impressed me in 2012. It’s exciting to see him on board another project and making his U.S. debut.
Sinister 2 was penned by Derrickson and returning scribe C. Robert Cargill. No plot details have been revealed. When we spoke to producer Jason Blum last month, he told us, “If you love the tone of the first film, you’ll love this. Plus it’s got a lot of new stuff in it.”
