Lauren Ashley Carter of last year's Jug Face is set to star in the independent horror film Pod. Writer-director Mickey Keating is currently in prep on the film and that's your first look at the teaser art you see here.
Keating brought us the cult-themed Ritual last year released by Lionsgate Home Entertainment/After Dark Films.
Pod will see Keating reunite with his Ritual star Dean Cates who will appear in the film with Brian Morvant (The Den).
The film is described as an ensemble family drama that goes horrifically awry in the snowy confines of an isolated lake house. Keating tells us, "It's a paranoid and violent nod to the original Twilight Zone series, Frankenheimer's Manchurian Candidate, and The Andromeda Strain."
Morgan White, William Day-Frank and Sean Fowler are serving as producers. Eleanor West and Benjamin Wright co-produce.
