Original writer-director James DeMonaco is returning for the sequel and Frank Grillo is starring alongside Michael K. Williams, Zach Gilford, Carmen Ejogo and Kiele Sanchez.
I’m curious – will this break out beyond the confines of a house this time? Will the canvas open up allowing us to see the world The Purge is painted on? Blumhouse has a very “if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it” mentality (see: the Paranormal Activity series), but I’ll be curious to see if DeMonaco gives us a taste of “the bigger picture.”
Well, we’ll find out in six months, won’t we?
