We don’t have plot details to share as AMC has not released anything officially. But as you can see, the members of Rick’s camp look scattered. Rick is recovering from a brutal beating to the head. Carl’s got some drama he’s dealing with. And, naturally, there are zombies.

It’s going to be interesting to see how the show deviates from the comics at this point. In the comics, Tyreese is the one who was decapitated, not Hershel, and Rick and Carl suffered some major personal losses. After the siege on the prison, they were left to venture out on their own.
Will they reunite with Maggie, Tyreese and the other survivors on the show? Likely, but I’m curious to see how long we’ll be watching Rick/Carl battle the elements on their own. The mid-season finale was the first episode that actually got my heart racing. I hope the show maintains this momentum it has created.
