In the wake of its Toronto International Film Festival premiere, The Green Inferno has found a U.S. distributor in Open Road, says THR.
No release date has been set for the latest film – a cannibal tale – from Eli Roth. A sequel, however, is already in the works with Aftershock director Nicolas Lopez direct.
The Green Inferno follows a group of student activists who from New York City travel to the Amazon to protect a dying tribe, but crash in the jungle and are taken hostage by the very natives they saved.
