Rumors began to circulate yesterday that Paramount was considering moving Paranormal Activity 5 from its scheduled October 25th release date to sometime in January, to replicate the success that The Devil Inside found in that same window. While we had previously heard different from producer Jason Blum, it appears that the initial reports were true. Hit the jump for all the details.
Exhibitor Relations is reporting that Paramount has now scheduled Paranormal Activity 5 for a release on January 3, 2014. The cycle has been broken, unfortunately.
Further details on the film are still not known, including the creative team behind the project. We’ll let you know as soon as we find out anything further on the film.
