The Wrap reports that Mia Wasikowska (Stoker) is in talks to replace Emma Stone in Crimson Peak. The film is Guillermo del Toro’s next feature film project once he’s done shooting The Strain for FX. Already attached to star: Charlie Hunnam, Benedict Cumberbatch and Jessica Chastain.
Written by Del Toro, Matthew Robbins and Lucinda Coxon, Crimson Peak is said to be a classic ghost story that also makes use of modern conventions.
Shooting isn’t expected to begin until February 2014.
