There’s a new independent creature feature in the works called Black Lagoon and, no, it’s not a remake of Creature from the Black Lagoon.
It’s the latest effort from writer-director Brandon Slagle (The Black Dahlia Haunting) and the film concerns a marine biologist who is assigned to investigate the mysterious deaths of marine life in an inland salt water lake. When she arrives she discovers the town’s dark secret – an ancient legend that may in fact be real.
