Tonight marks the end of American Horror Story: Asylum as the final episode plays out and there is already buzz surrounding season 3. Co-creator Ryan Murphy told us last week that he’d like to see some cast members from season one return for the third season. Moreover, those who did not appear in Asylum. Word dropped today as to who might be returning.
According to EW, Taissa Farmiga, season one’s “Violet,” is in talks for season three.
Murphy tells the outlet: “I missed her this season. There wasnt really a role for her. I feel very protective of her and I didnt want her to go back into the loony binit was too dark. So I thought well I want Taissa to be one of the leads next year. I called her up and pitched her the character for the season and she loved it and she said, Yes lets do it. So were in negotiations for her to headline season 3.”
Jessica Lange, Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson will also be returning.
