Fantastic Fest Exclusive: Bogliano Talks About Werewolf Project Late Phases

Shock Till You Drop sat down with Here Comes the Devil director Adrian Garcia Bogliano minutes after news of his first English-language film, Late Phases, hit the Hollywood trades.

“I don’t get to read many scripts, but this is the best thing I’ve read in a long time,” enthused Bogliano.  “It’s a werewolf story and it’s exciting because of the focus of the story and the focus of the action.  And it’s exciting to work with Dark Sky Films again.  I’m working with Zack Zeman who is producing and I’m thrilled.”

Written by Eric Stolze (of Steven C. Miller’s upcoming Under the Bed), the film “will tell the story of Ambrose McKinley, a blind war veteran, who moves into a community where the residents have been dying in increasing numbers.  Oddly, all have supposedly been the victims of dog attacks.  But after barely surviving his own attack on his first night there, Ambrose discovers that the assailants are not just canines – they are entirely different and far more terrifying.

Stay tuned for more on this film and look for Here Comes the Devil which was recently picked up by Magnet.
