Since Fox is re-tooling the script for its latest Daredevil project, David Slade – who is in line to direct – is looking elsewhere for another film. He’ll helm Villain for Wayfare Entertainment. The film is being described as a psychological thriller.
Slade is the director of Hard Candy and 30 Days of Night. Oh, and I suppose we should not overlook The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
For Villain, he’ll be working from a script by Josh Zetumer, the scribe behind MGM’s forthcoming Robocop remake.
The story follows two brothers as they confront their dark past in an unforgiving wilderness. Filmmakers are currently casting for the two lead roles.
Slade is also attached to direct the Hannibal pilot for NBC.
