Playing Claudia Wolf in the sequel
The Matrix and Memento‘s Carrie-Anne Moss plays Claudia Wolf in the upcoming sequel Silent Hill: Revelation and IFC caught up to the actress to talk a bit about the sequel.
The actress told the site she never played any of the games, but let the look of the character from Silent Hill 3 inform who Wolf was. “It definitely was part of the conversation with the director, looking at a lot of different footage. And then ultimately this crazy wig and this crazy costume helped me go, there I was! … The dialogue, too. This woman was powerful and slightly insane, but a zealot who totally believed in what she was doing. So it was pretty intense.”
Moss’ character plays against Adelaide Clemens’ Heather Mason in the film directed by Michael J. Bassett.
Kit Harington, Radha Mitchell, Sean Bean, Deborah Kara Unger, Carrie-Anne Moss and Malcolm McDowell also star in the film opening sometime in 2012 from Lionsgate.
