Del Toro on Doctor Strange and Haunted Mansion

And Pacific Rim, Mountains of Madness



Somewhere in his busy schedule, Guillermo del Toro made time to swing by the MTV offices to drop updates on a couple of projects that are gestating while he works on Pacific Rim.

Specifically, he was asked about the glut of superhero movies that have hit this summer (he dug Thor and Captain America) and if Doctor Strange was a possibility. In short, no. He’s got too many films in development.

MTV also asked about how The Haunted Mansion was coming along. He says there’s still script work to do – it’s in its second draft – and a “show and tell” presentation has come together that’s riddled with concept art and maquettes.
