On playing the skin-masked brute
Dan Yeager, the man who is the new Leatherface, is keeping busy on his Facebook page, updating from the set of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D.
He’s also doing a bit of talking to the fans. Recently, he said, regarding his turn as Leatherface, “I am staying as faithful as I can to the work that Gunner Hansen did in the original. I’ve also tried to interperet [sic] his life experiences explored in this film. I would say, the most significant change in Leatherface is that he can no longer rely on others to think for him. I can’t say more without getting into specifics of the script.”
