â?¢ Rumors are loose yet again that Child’s Play, the reboot, is finally moving ahead and that the rights are cleared up between Universal and MGM.  Brad Dourif will return as Chucky, apparently, and, as reported earlier, Don Mancini scripted the film.  MGM will shepherd the project.  Again, none of this is confirmed.

â?¢ Yours truly is featured in this look at After Dark Films airing on FEARnet, and I don’t know why I look so damn worried.  Adam Gierasch, Jace Anderson, Mike Mendez and many others are also involved.

â?¢ Entertainment Weekly is suddenly fascinated with SyFy schlock, so they’ve debuted this behind-the-scenes look at Roger Corman’s latest animal mash-up: Piranhaconda.

â?¢ An extended trailer for The Vampire in the Hole, that indie bloodsucker film supposedly shot on a $1 budget.

� Erin Carufel will co-star in Gone alongside Amanda Seyfried.  The film is about a young woman who believes a serial killer has abducted her sister and sets out to find him.

â?¢ SyFy is planning a Jersey Shore Shark Attack for 2012. This one focuses on vacationing Jerseyites who fend off shark attacks on the shore…possibly with their herpes (I kid).

â?¢ American Idol contestants bailed out of their house because they believed it was haunted.

â?¢ If you live in Los Angeles, meet Lin Shaye, Ty Simpkins and Joseph Bishara from Insidious tomorrow, March 26, at Dark Delicacies (3512 W. Magnolia Blvd., Burbank, CA).

â?¢ Test screening reports for Fright Night 3D reveal Chris Sarandon does indeed appear in the film.

â?¢ The Spanish one-sheet for Scream 4.

â?¢ Hey, remember when a Killer Tomatoes remake was gobbling up precious headline space?  Undead Brainspasm got the word on where the project’s at.  The man behind the upcoming redo, John DeBello, says there are no updates and “ya never know” if it will or will not happen.
