A new UK zom-com
Matthias Hoene is busy in pre-production on the zom-com Cockneys vs. Zombies; auditions have been underway for the last few weeks. Recently, Hoene posted the below photo via his Twitter account. It’s a makeup test for one of the many zombies you’ll be seeing in Hoene’s flick.
Written by Lucus Roeche, the script tells of two small time crooks carrying one million in stolen cash and fighting for survival in London after a zombie outbreak. Tamer Hassan was attached to star back in 2008 when the film was first announced, it’s unknown if he’s still available to star.
Hoene previously directed Beyond the Rave for Hammer Films.
