Itâs 1943 and the German army has spread its black tentacles across the European continent, mercilessly cutting a swath of destruction and carnage.
On the Eastern Front, at the edge of the apocalypse, a small band of Resistance fighters, led by Nathaniel (Brendan Fletcher), Vasyl (Willam Belli), and Magda (Annett Culp), fight the good fight against the occupiers. But with seemingly endless manpower at their disposal, the German army, headed by the vicious Commandant (Michael Paré), threatens to eradicate the Resistance.
The Commandantâs soldiers, led by his trusted Lieutenant (Steffen Mennekes), tighten their iron grip on a small eastern town and facilitate the movement of transport trains to the nearby death camps. Meanwhile, a psychotic Doctor (Clint Howard) performs grisly experiments on people in the camps â and has a strange affinity for cutting open vampires, when he can get his hands on one.
And where there are vampires, thereâs Rayne!
Half-vampire, half-human, Rayne (Natassia Malthe) has moved through the centuries destroying the destroyers, slaughtering vampires and those that keep to the shadows.
After a bloody battle at a rail depot, Rayne and the Commandant face off in the confines of a rail car. In the fight, the Commandant becomes infected by Rayneâs blood and, unknown to her, begins his transformation into a powerful day-walker.
Now Rayne faces her greatest foe, a growing army of undead soldiers led by the Commandant. She and the Resistance must defeat the Commandant and his vampire troops before they manage to get back to Berlin, where they intend to make Hitler immortal.
