Shooting in L.A. next month
Even thought we’ve seen a televised remake and there are plans for a theatrical remake, Dimension Films is moving ahead on another Children of the Corn sequel.
According to Bloody-Disgusting, director Joel Soisson will helm Children of the Corn: The Dweller. The story, this time, concerns a family who break down on the road after their car overheats. They find shelter in a home owned by a couple and their kid. Of course, not everything is as it seems.
Soisson’s history includes directing a number of Pulse and Prophecy sequels as well as being involved in the story capacity on the Dracula 2000 and Hellraiser sequels.
Shooting begins this September on Dweller.
