Mutants: Heroes or revenge-seekers?
Screenwriter Mark Protosevich is developing an adaptation of the comic book “Freakshow.”
Protosevich previously penned I Am Legend and has Thor hitting screens next year. He’ll write “Freakshow” and co-produce with Sheldon Turner and Jennifer Klein, he may even direct.
To be published by Ape Entertainment in January, the three-part “Freakshow” takes a Toxic Avenger-like vibe as it tells of five friends who are turned into mutants after a chemical explosion. They have to decide whether to use their powers for good or to seek revenge on those responsible for their accident.
