Footage was “too hot”
Originally announced as part of the regular Comic-Con schedule, Dimension Films had to move the panel for Piranha 3D off-site for the reason stated below in the studio’s statement with their new info:
TOO HOT FOR COMIC-CON…
You are invited to attend the special San Diego screening of PIRANHA 3D footage â several minutes of never-before-seen footage that is so fantastically bloody and so intense, we couldn’t show it on site at Comic-Con!
