Horror film to be released in a unique fashion
Female journalist? Check. A camera man? Check. Journalist stripped down to a white tank top? Check. Something horrifying unfolding via shaky cam? Check.
Nope, it’s not Rec, it’s The Tunnel from director Carlo Ledesma. He’s an Australian filmmaker pulling together a feature film that is being geared for release on torrent sites everywhere, so all of you lil’ pirates out here don’t need to do any work.
It’s an interesting concept, releasing a film this way, however, Ledesma is still locking down funds to finishing the project. The producers are seeking donations at their film’s official site now. But, Ledesma has cobbled together a teaser trailer which you can watch past the synopsis.
An investigation into a government cover-up leads to a network of abandoned train tunnels deep beneath the heart of Sydney. As a journalist and her crew hunt for the story it quickly becomes clear the story is hunting them.
