Welcome to the carnival of fear
Here’s the latest artwork that’s being used to get the word out about Carnival of Fear. You might remember the first poster that was whipped up, take a look at it here.
Closed for the Season, written and directed by Jay Woelfel, stars Aimee Brooks, Damian Maffei, and Leatherface‘s Joe Unger. The film tells the story of Kristy (Brooks), who finds herself trapped inside a decaying, abandoned amusement park, with James (Maffei), son of the park’s caretakers. The pair finds themselves being tormented by a mysterious carny (Unger) and the long discarded and decrepit attractions of the park.
The film is due for a screening at the Famouse Monsters of Filmland Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana, July 9-11. Maffei, Unger, and Woelfel will be in attendance as guests all weekend.
We’ve been told since the Monstermania screening (read our review), the film has been tinkered with and tightened.
