After each screening fans will also have an opportunity to meet and grab autographs from the trio of fabulous visitors. Show times are at 7:00pm and 11:00pm with tickets for $17 available in advance at www.originalalamo.com

All About Evil was inspired by my love of cult films and unique, fantastic movie theatres,” says director Joshua Grannell. “For the Midnight Mass movie events in San Francisco, the cinema is our church which Peaches Christ is a self-appointed priestess. I’ve heard all about the legendary Alamo Drafthouse for years, and I am really thrilled we’ll be making our EVIL Texas premiere at the beloved Alamo!”

All About Evil tells the tale of Deborah Tennis (Natasha Lyonne) a mousy librarian who inherits her father’s beloved but old movie house in San Francisco. In order to save the family business, she discovers her inner serial killer – and starts turning out a series of grisly short films. Quickly cultivating a rabid legion of gore fans, Deborah makes it a “family” affair by recruiting a nefarious crew to execute her devious plan: the loyal Mr. Twigs (Jack Donner), psychotic twins Veda and Vera (Jade and Nikita Ramsey) and hygienically challenged Adrian (Noah Segan). Her biggest fan, high school student Steven (Thomas Dekker of the upcoming Nightmare on Elm Street), doesn’t realize the murders in the movies are real. As Deborah’s “actors” keep disappearing, will he catch the blame for the dastardly deeds of this fame obsessed auteur? Rounding out the cast is Cassandra Peterson, better known as Elvira, Mistress of the dark and John Waters superstar Mink Stole (Pink Flamingos, Serial Mom).

The film makes its World Premiere at the 53rd San Francisco International Film Festival on May 1, 2010 at the Castro Theatre.
