Burton to begin shooting…
More news out of this year’s South by Southwest Festival…
Frankenweenie is ready to roll, says Don Hahn. The executive producer told attendees, according to AICN, “that the puppets are ready, the script is done and now that Tim Burton is clear of Alice in Wonderland… he’s set to helm Frankenweenie in 3D.”
This seems to be definitive word on what Burton – a man who has a number of projects lined up – is doing next. Because, if you recall, he was recently attached to a stop-motion The Addams Family film. He’s also expected to resurrect Dark Shadows on the big screen with Johnny Depp.
Frankenweenie is the story of a young man who’s beloved dog is killed in an accident and is brought back to life.
