With the Paranormal Activity spoof
Missed the Oscar’s tonight? No worries. You can check out the Academy’s tribute to our favorite genre below, which kicked off with a Paranormal Activity spoof from hosts Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin. However, presenter’s Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart reference The Exorcist as the last “horror” pic to gain attention from the Academy. It was actually 1991’s Silence Of The Lambs which swept the awards that year.
Multiple kudos to Kathryn Bigelow for her historic win as best director. (The first female director to win helmed Near Dark!)
