Actor reunites with Lussier and Farmer
The fine fiends over at Dread Central got some awesome casting news tonight for Patrick Lussier’s next 3D outing Drive Angry. Tom “Thrill Me” Atkins is the latest to join the cast, which already includes Nicolas Cage, William Fichtner, Amber Heard, David Morse, Billy Burke and Charlotte Ross.
The genre vet whom we know and love from films such as Night Of The Creeps, John Carpenter’s The Fog and Halloween III: Season Of The Witch was last seen in Patrick Lussier and Todd Farmer’s previous film My Bloody Valentine 3D, so this casting news comes as a welcome surprise.
The 3D pic about a felon named who goes up against a group of vicious cult fanatics begins shooting in Shreveport, Louisiana next month. It hits theaters February 11, 2011.
