Deal is close…
Vincenzo Natali’s Splice stirred up varied responses at the Sundance Film Festival, but those I’ve talked to who have seen it have explained things about the film that did nothing but further my excitement.
Any fears that this might go into limited release or direct-to-DVD can be dismissed because it appears Joel Silver’s Dark Castle is muscling in on a deal to distribute the film. Wide. Like, 3,000 screens! Now, that’s cool.
