VOD then limited theatrical run
When Magnet Releasing, a division of Magnolia Pictures, picked up George A. Romero’s Survival of the Dead, little was known about the release date other than it was due this spring.
Fangoria was tipped off that Magnet is preparing an April 30 debut on VOD which will then be followed by limited theatrical run on May 28, standard release procedure for the company behind last year’s The House of the Devil.
In Romero’s sixth Dead outing survivors of a zombie apocalypse find shelter on an island only to find there is no escape from the undead.
