“I never wanted to make another movie.”
John Carpenter talks openly about his return to feature filmmaking in an interview with French site Canal +. And he’s got a lot to say.
While in production on The Ward, which he shot last year with Amber Heard and Danielle Panabaker, he tells Canal’s interview that he was glad he didn’t get approached to do another film after Ghosts of Mars. It gave him some time to recuperate as former President Bush “took America down into flames.”
Yes, indeed, it’s good to hear from the man again!
Check out the full interview right here. You’ll also get a taste of his latest film via an on-set rehearsal with Heard and her co-stars.
No release date has been set for The Ward.
