Audiences in Spain will get to see it
Thanks to a tip in Variety – concerning Spain’s distribution outfit XPand – we did a quick bit of digging and found this trailer for Passmore Lab’s 3-D and colorized version of George Romero’s Night of the Living Dead (y’know – because the film is public domain allowing everyone to do whatever the hell they want to it). XPand picked up the film to release in its region.
No word on what the San Diego-based Passmore’s doing with the film release-wise here in the States. If you recall, Sid Haig starred in an awful 2006 3-D redo of Night of the Living Dead. Meanwhile, Zebediah de Soto is currently in production on Night of the Living Dead: Origins.
