Sharks in a supermarket!
Bait, the latest film from director Russell Mulcahy, received a big boost in production funding from Screen Australia.
The picture is the first of a number of 3-D thrillers to lens in the country. Mulcahy became attached to the project in October – you’ll find a look at the sales art right here.
Mulcahy, who directed Razorback and Resident Evil: Extinction, returns to his nature-run-amok roots with this story of a flooded underground supermarket where tsunami victims are trapped inside with a pack of tiger sharks. You’ll find a full synopsis at the aforementioned link.
Paramount is releasing the film in Australia.
