Producer talks expansion of the short
Tim Burton is still forging ahead with a feature-length, stop-motion adaptation of his live-action short film Frankenweenie, in spite of being attached to a number of projects including Dark Shadows.
ComingSoon.net spoke with producer Allison Abbate, who is also behind Wes Anderson’s Fantastic Mr. Fox. She tells the site the resurrection of Frankenweenie is still some time off (around two years), but when this ol’ dog does come sniffing around, we might see his adventures in black and white (like the original film) and in 3-D.
Shooting will occur in and around London.
