DiCaprio’s Appian Way is developing the project
Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way is developing a Gothic reimagining of “Little Red Riding Hood” with screenwriter David Leslie Johnson, says Variety. Johnson work can currently be seen in theaters now in Orphan.
The project has been developed internally at Appian Way but is not a possible acting vehicle for DiCaprio.
The most-known version of the story was published in the 19th century by the Brothers Grimm. Earlier oral versions of the tale are far darker.
