Filming begins this summer
Alex Winter’s The Gate 3D, a redo of the ’87 film we’ve been keeping you in the loop on, begins production this summer.
Shooting commences in Cologne, Germany’s MMC Studios. The film is receiving a big boost in financing from the area. According to ScreenDaily, visual effects are being handled by the Frankfurt and Stuttgart studios of Pixomondo (Roland Emmerich’s 2012. Kerric MacDonald scripted the update.
