Producing team locked…
Variety confirms today’s earlier report that Dimension Films is developing a remake of An American Werewolf in London.
The trade paper adds that Sean and Bryan Furst are producing. They shepherded the Spierig Bros. upcoming release Daybreakers. Having conquered vampires, the Furst’s are now keen on taking on John Landis’ 1981 tale of a college student bitten by a werewolf in England who then goes on a rampage in London.
There is no writer or director yet. The film spawned a limp sequel, An American Werewolf in Paris.
