Slow roll-out in the U.S.
Focus Features is planning a July U.S. bow for Park Chan-Wook’s vampire film Thirst. According to Fangoria, it will get a limited theatrical run sometime this July then expand based on its performance. Song Kang-ho (The Host) stars in the film as a priest who receives a blood transfusion during an experiment and wakes up a vampire. Thirst plays to Cannes Film Festival audiences next month.
