Genre division closing up shop
Only two years old, Fox Atomic is reportedly closing its doors. The division of 20th Century Fox brought horror fans The Hills Have Eyes 2, 28 Weeks Later and Turistas.
Fox took on Atomic’s marketing duties in January of 2008, a telling sign the division was still going through growing pains. Since then Atomic produced Jennifer’s Body, starring Megan Fox, which opens on September 18th.
Variety, who is reporting Atomic’s closing, couldn’t get anyone from the studio to go on the record, however, official news is expected to come down next week.
