He will host midnight screening
Sam Raimi is taking a “work in progress” cut of Drag Me to Hell to the South by Southwest fest.
He will introduce the film at a midnight screening on March 15th. The Universal horror project stars Alison Lohman and Justin Long in a story of young woman’s desperate quest to break an evil curse.
The director of the Evil Dead and Spider-Man franchises has been tinkering and screening Drag for the last few months. We hear he’s toying with both a PG-13 and R-rated cut. We caught a peek at the former version and were very happy with the way it turned out.
It opens on May 29th through Universal.
