From the writer-director of Trick ‘r Treat
In a recent interview with Comics on Comics, Josh Howard – creator of “Dead @ 17” – says Trick ‘r Treat helmer Michael Dougherty is penning a live-action version of the Viper Comics series.
“Dead @ 17” tells of a young girl who dies and is resurrected to fight demons. It might still be too early to talk casting, but Howard is throwing around Vanessa Hudgens as one contender for the leading role.
Dougherty, who could possibly direct the film, has two other projects on the slab: Calling All Robots and the possible Fox werewolf series Bitches (last report).
