The Canadian thriller from Bruce McDonald
IFC Entertainment is bringing Bruce McDonald’s Pontypool to the States. Right now they’re aiming for a May 29th release, the same day as Sam Raimi’s Drag Me to Hell. Knowing IFC, however, they’ll likely offer McDonald’s film a VOD and limited run. Starring Stephen McHattie, Lisa Houle and Georgina Reilly Pontypool follows a radio DJ who begins to receive reports of violence breaking out in his town where the English language has become infected with a virus.
