Continues successful festival streak
Writing in to ShockTillYouDrop.com from the set of his latest horror film Frozen, Adam Green (Hatchet) informed us Grace, on which he served as producer, scored a festival win over the weekend.
“Grace took home the Jury prize in France’s prestigious Gerardmer International Fantasy Film Festival. While in the past the festival has been known to give out two Jury prizes, during the ceremony they said that Grace was so strong that they could only see giving out one this year,” he says. We brought you an exclusive first-look at a teaser trailer fashioned for the festival last week.
Other films playing at Gerardmer included Midnight Meat Train, Let the Right One In (which took the Grand Pix at the fest) and The Burrowers. Grace director Paul Solet (interview) is now on his way to take his opus to Scotland for the UK Frightfest’s winter event.
Green adds, “Stay tuned for more Grace screenings worldwide, including a few more American dates that will be happening before the film’s official release later this year.”
