Summit said to have made offer
Marc Malkin is reporting, on behalf of E! Online, that Dakota Fanning may be the latest new addition to the Twilight family. The young actress has apparently been offered the coveted role of “Jane” in New Moon. In fan circles, Dakota was a popular choice to play the Italian vamp who’s part of the Volturi, a deadly group of bloodsuckers. Nothing is confirmed, of course, but I’m sure we’ll hear more soon enough. Summit Entertainment opens New Moon in theaters on November 20th.
