John Landis set for another vampire flick?
Charisma Carpenter (“Cordielia” of Buffy the Vampire Slayer) has signed up for Red Sparrow’s Vivid.
Described as a psychological horror film, Vivid – a UK production – follows a New York novelist who relocates to rural England, only to be rejected by the locals and haunted by horrific visions of a massacre. Ricci Harnett, Sean Chapman (Hellraiser) and Justin Hawkins (of the band “The Darkness”) co-star.
Director Reg Traviss (Joy Division) begins shooting in London and Somerset soon.
Red Sparrow is also developing John Landis’ Chinese vampire movie Bone Orchard and Cockneys vs. Zombies, the horror-comedy we introduced to you here.
