Teen rage in the spotlight
Canadian production house Zone Film will produce Jeff Welch teen horror script Piecemeal with producer Simon Trottier of TCB Films.
The Hollywood Reporter says it’s “the tale of a teen who struggles to control his rage while living the life of a brutally abused young man in recurring nightmares.” Zone’s Daniel Roby aims to begin principal photography next fall.
Seville Pictures is going to distribute the film in the U.K. and Canada. Trottier’s most recent project was Pascal Laugier’s Martyrs.
