Dark Castle’s Beckinsale thriller
Maybe we were premature. Initially, we had heard Whiteout was due in September. We can confidently say now the Kate Beckinsale-starring thriller is due in theaters April 24, 2009 from Dark Castle/Warner Bros. Shock received confirmation last night.
Based on the graphic novel by Greg Rucka, Whiteout tells of Carrie Stetko (Kate Beckinsale) is a lone U.S. Marshal assigned to Antarctica whose investigation of the continent’s first murder draws her into a shocking mystery. Now, with only three days until winter, Carrie must solve the crime before Antarctica is punged into darkness and she is stranded with the killer.
Gabriel Macht, Columbus Short and Alex O’Loughlin co-star.
