Horror comic premieres in San Diego
When reality show maven Thom Beers (Monster Garage) announced he was teaming with Devil’s Due Publishing for a new horror comic book called Chopper Zombie (First details), he had more in mind for the property than just the graphic novel. Variety reports Beers is fueling up to ride Chopper Zombie onto the big screen with his production outfit Original Productions. Production would begin sometime in 2009.
Written by Todd Livingston and illustrated by artist Scott Keating, Chopper features a revenge plot concerning an undead motorcycle builder and the sinister corporation that killed him over his latest creation: A new formula for super-fuel.
Chopper Zombie debuts at the San Diego Comic-Con, it streets on July 30th. Get your preview here.
