Director chosen, casting begins
Fox Home Video’s Tom Siegrist told us last November there is interest in a Wrong Turn 3. Today, B-D broke the news this morning with a report that casting has begun.
Our Fox rep has now informed us Declan O’Brien is confirmed to direct. O’Brien most recently helmed Sci-Fi Channel fare Cyclops and Genesis Code. No word yet if he is penning the third Turn as well. We’ll keep you posted with plot details when they come in. Last year, he was credited for penning Harpies, starring Stephen Baldwin, and Savage Planet.
The first Wrong Turn was released in 2003 and grossed an estimated $28 million worldwide. Joe Lynch’s Wrong Turn 2 arrived four years later on DVD and became one of Fox’s most popular direct-to-DVD hits.
