Dark Castle horror film now in production
Dave Parker’s The Hills Run Red is now shooting in Sofia, Bulgaria for Dark Castle Home Entertainment and Warner Premiere.
THR reports Sophie Monk (pictured), Tad Hilgenbrinck, William Sadler, Alex Wyndham and Janet Montgomery are key cast members in this horror film Shock exclusively gave you the first word on in April (details).
It’s a busy year for Hilgenbrink who will also appear in Lost Boys: The Tribe and Amusement this year.
Written by David J. Schow and John Dumbrow, Hills concerns three friends who venture into the woods where an infamous slasher film was lensed. Their search for a complete print leads them to discover the film hasn’t completed shooting, “and now they must survive a nightmarish onslaught or become part of the movie forever.”
Dark Castle’s Steve Richards and Erik Olsen are producing in conjunction with Roee Sharon, Robert Meyer Burnett and John Carchietta.
The Hills run red on DVD in early 2009.
