Shooting begins, Ladd set to star
Leomax, in association with Dark Sky Entertainment and Ariescope Pictures’ Adam Green and Cory Neal (Hatchet), is producing a feature-length version of Paul Solet’s disturbing short film Grace.
Solet is writing and directing (natch) and has cast Jordan Ladd (Death Proof) as a young mother carrying a deceased baby inside her to term. When the infant is born, she discovers it is alive…needless to say, something is off about this sprout. More on the short film can be found via Solet’s MySpace page.
The trades report Leomax will distribute the feature domestically via its genre label Indigomotion with Anchor Bay Entertainment.
