Remake moves up a month
2009 is shaping up to be the year where horror leaps off the screen and throttles your peepers.
Dimension Films recently announced Alexandre Aja’s Piranha is going to arrive next summer in 3-D. Now, Lionsgate is rearing its competitive edge. The studio revealed, via its press site, that their update of My Bloody Valentine is going to be executed in 3-D. The film has also bumped up the release date to January 23, 2009 – it was originally slated for a February 13th debut.
Patrick Lussier is directing the remake based on a script by Zane Smith.
